The National Hurl with Me Day in association with the National Dairy Council takes place this Sunday June 26th in the GAA Games Development Centre in Abbotstown.
This day is the final day for 24 clubs involved in the Hurl with Me Programme. Both parents and daughters will take part in non competitive games on the day.
These 24 clubs were part of a national programme in which the Camogie Association organised a tutor for 6 weeks to take the parents through the basic skills of the game of Camogie. The aim of the programme is to get more parents involved in the game. Parents in the programme are now confident to play camogie with their daughters.
