Over 1200 girls participated in the national under 14 Blitz competition in Dublin on Saturday the 12th September. 51 teams from 29 counties took part in the competition across 5 divisions. Thanks to the 8 clubs that hosted the competition in Dublin including Ballyboden, St.Annes, Thomas Davis, Ballymun, Trinitiy Gaels, Craobh Chiarain, Innisfails and Naomh Mearnog. Mini Games at All Ireland Final
6 teams took part in the mini games in Croke Park on All Ireland final day. Four teams were selected from an application process and the finalists of the St.Judes 7 a side competition also took part. This year Thomastown of Kilkenny and Myshall of Carlow were the finalists in the St.Judes competition this year.

Kilmacud 7’s Competition
Wexfords Oulart the Ballagh defeated Clonoulty/Rossmore by just a point in the final of the Kilmacud 7’s competition on a scoreline 1-14 to 2-10.

Inagh Kilnamona, Clare captured the Shield honours with a  4-07 to 0-03 win over Oranmore of Galway. The plate final saw Cargin from Antrim defeat Iniskeen Monaghan on a scoreline of 4-03 to 4-02.
