The National Under 15 Blitz will take place in Kilkenny this Saturday the 15th August . 13 teams from 10 counties will take part in the competition. 8 teams will take part in the Cup competition with 5 in the shield. Pictured above last year’s cup winners Cork. Can they retain their title in 2015?  The counties taking part this year include: Dublin, Wexford, Clare, Limerick, Tipperary, Kilkenny, Galway, Cork, Meath and Down.
Each team that take part in the competition will attend the Liberty Insurance Senior Semi final between Galway and Wexford in Nowlan Park at 3.30pm. Representatives from each county will participate in the ‘Camán and Run’ solo relay race at half time of the match on the day.

Over 70 girls at Kilkenny Summer Camp
73 girls aged between 7 and 14 years attended the Kilkenny camp from the 4th – 6th of August. The Camogie summer camp was held in John Lockes Park in Callan.
Despite the damp weather all girls got to enjoy an action packed 3 days of camogie with a focus on fun, friendship and learning of skills over the 3 days.

Longford Super Camp
 
Pictured above action from the Longford Super camp which took place on Friday the 7th August. 38 girls took part in this super camp involving both Camogie & Ladies Football receiving coaching tips to improve their skills in both codes.
 
 
100 girls at Roscommon Camogie Camp
100 girls aged between 6-12 yrs old took part in the Roscommon Camogie Summer Camp held in Dr Hyde Park on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th of August.
Huge thank you to the expert coaching sessions delivered by Aisling Tarpey and Niamh Kelly along with Roscommon Senior Camoige players Noeleen McCormack, Eala Coyle, Caroline Gunning and Niamh Farrell.

Wexford under 15 Development Blitz a huge success!!
On Saturday the 8th of August Wexford Camogie hosted a development blitz for under 15 county squads. 10 teams from 7 counties including Wexford (2 squads), Dublin (2 squads), Kilkenny (2 squads), Laois, Carlow, Kildare and Meath took part.
Thanks to St.Martins GAA club for use of their fantastic facilities for hosting the blitz. On the Day the cup final was contested by Kilkenny and Dublin with Kilkenny taking the honours. The shield final was a close encounter between Dublin 2 and Laois with Dublin winning out in the end.
Thanks to Wexford development officer Joe Roche and all mentors and volunteers who helped out on the day.
