The U15 National Blitz Competition for phase 2 counties will take place this Saturday the 3rd October in Trim GAA pitch Meath. 11 counties will take part in this year’s cup and shield competitions.
Westmeath won last years cup competition and will be looking to retain their title with opposition from Armagh, Offaly, Kildare, Carlow, Laois and Cavan.
Carlow won the shield competition in 2014 and will be competing in the cup this year.  Donegal, Monaghan, Roscommon and Wicklow will be looking for honours in the shield competition this year

U15 National Blitz Fixtures- Phase 2
 
 
Wexford 1st year blitz:
On Thursday the 24th of September county development officer Joe Roche and Wexford Camogie held a development blitz for second level schools. 6 schools took part and all schools that attended had teams in the 7 a-side and the 10 a side divisions. Fcj Bunclody, St.Marys New Ross, Presentation Wexford, Creagh College, Bridgetown vocational and the Vocational school Enniscorthy took part on the day with 120 girls playing in total. Transition year students officiated at the games.

Belfast Development Squad
The First session on the Belfast Development Squad took place Sunday morning 27th September. 42 girls from 7 clubs participated with coaching provided by Ronan Toner and Antoin McCaffery. The programme will continue for another 5 weeks. Thanks to Belfast City Council and Natural Word Products for their support for this programme.

Wicklow Cumann na mBunscol Blitz
On Wednesday the 23rd of September the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Camogie League Day took place in Bray Emmets GAA Grounds. Five teams took part in the blitz including Kilcoole Primary School, Rathdrum Team 1 and 2, Scoil Chualann and Gaelscoil na Lochanna. Scoil Chualann finished in second place and Our Lady's National School Rathdrum emerged as winners. Each team was awarded a Laoch na hImeartha plaque that was presented to the girl of the game from each team.

Upcoming- Offaly Workshop
A series of indoor hurling & Camogie workshops are taking place at the moment in Offaly with a nursery workshop upcoming on Saturday 10th October in Banagher College. Over the course of all the workshops it is hoped that coaches will built up their reservoir of coaching skills. Damien Young will be the presenter of the nursery workshop.
