On Saturday 7th May, a Go Games demonstration blitz took place in Kinnitty Camogie Club, County Offaly. The blitz was organised to kick off the underage camogie season in the county. The day was a huge success. In total a massive 268 girls from all over county Offaly participated on the day.

The day kicked off at 1pm with the U-8 Go Games blitz. 101 girls representing 8 clubs from all over Offaly took to the field for the U-8 blitz. This was followed at 2.30pm by the U-12 blitz. 167 girls from 10 Offaly clubs took part in the blitz. Every team played 3-4 games on the day.

Thanks to Offaly County Camogie Board for their support of the event. In particular, thanks to Ray Molloy who helped in running the event. Thanks to the referees who helped on the day.

Also, thank you to Kinnitty Camogie Club for the kind use of their facilities on the day.

Finally, well done and thank you to all the club mentors and players who participated and helped ensure that everyone had great fun on the day.
