Cork, Galway, Kilkenny and Tipperary will battle it out this Saturday for crucial places in the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Final on Saturday December 12th.

The Camogie Association is pleased to announce that we will have television and live online coverage of both of Saturday’s Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Semi-Finals.

The Camogie Association are delighted to confirm that the 2020 Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Intermediate and Premier Junior Championships Finals will once more be broadcast live on the RTÉ News Channel and also on the RTÉ Player International. With four Ulster sides competing on Saturday December 5th, the Finals will also be broadcast live via the BBC iPlayer.

Aoife McGrath says that Tipperary are just delighted to be in the last four and not considering the magnitude of attempting to dethrone the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior champions. 

Reigning champions Galway will put their crown on the line this weekend as they enter their first knockout match of the Championship. It has been a successful campaign to date for Cathal Murray’s side who finished top of their group to secure straight passage into the Semi-Final.

For many years this was the clash that seemed destined for Croke Park Final day, as was the case from 2016 to 2018 however for the second year in succession that is no longer the case as one of these two greats of the game will bow out of the Championship before All-Ireland Final day.

Down manager Derek Dunne was understandably “very happy”, after he watched his charges battle to a Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Intermediate Championship Semi-Final defeat of Meath by 0-14 to 0-8 at St Tiernach’s Park. 

The development of Camogie in Ulster was advertised in no uncertain terms, with the province set to provide all the contestants in the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Intermediate and Premier Junior Championships Finals on December 5th.

Clare produced their best performance in a number of years before fading very late on against Cork in the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Quarter-Final at Páirc Uí Chaoimh last Saturday and Alannah Ryan is already looking forward to next season.
