Updated COVID-19 Communication – 07.10.2020

Following confirmation that all 26 Counties will move to Level 3 of the Irish Government’s Plan for Living with COVID-19, the Gaelic Games Family’s COVID-19 Advisory group has issued the following key updates for those involved in Gaelic Games in the 26 Counties. The Executive in the North is due to meet later this week and it is anticipated that further restrictions may be imposed due to the rising infection levels in the six counties.

The Camogie Association’s Ard Chomhairle has now endorsed a decision to suspend all Camogie Club games ​at all levels with immediate effect ​and until further notice.

Baker Tilly All-Ireland Long Distance Camogie 7s set for Unique Edition

The Baker Tilly All-Ireland Long Distance Camogie 7s takes place between the 17th and 19th of September 2020. There’s still time to get your entry in, with competition grades for all abilities, and you’ll also have the chance to compete against Camogie teams who have already entered from as far afield as Australia and North America, as well as Ireland.

Revised National Camogie Fixtures for 2020 Confirmed

The revised fixtures for the 2020 Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Championships and the 2020 All-Ireland Under 16 Championships have now been confirmed with the return of intercounty set to begin on the weekend of October 17th/18th.

Joint statement from the Camogie Association, the GAA and the LGFA

In response to the updated public health advice which has been announced specifically for counties Kildare, Laois and Offaly – the Camogie Association, the GAA and the LGFA have announced a cessation of all activity in these counties at all levels and in all codes from midnight tonight until further notice.
