The International Pan Celtic Festival will be hosted by Carlow Town in April 2012. It is a great honour for the people of Carlow to host this prestigious event for the very first time.

We invite you to join us and enter into our annual Pan Celtic Camogie Blitz Competition, to be held in venues throughout Carlow Town. This is a great chance for your Camogie Team to start off the 2012 year. We know that you will savour the very best of food, music, singing and entertainment during your stay in this beautiful town on the banks of the magnificent River Barrow.

Camogie is the main sporting event of the festival which Camogie blitz which can featureup to 80 teams from all over Ireland in battle for the Pan Celtic title in this event.

The Camogie Blitz will take place on the 14th & 15th April.

Blitz group games shall take place on the Saturday with the finals to be held on the Sunday at a Premier Carlow GAA venue.

The Pan Celtic Camogie Tournament is a competition for Under 16 and Senior level teams.

Who can enter the Pan Celtic Tournament 2012?
Any registered Camogie Club team can enter this tournament.
Please note that only registered club players may play in this tournament.

What are the rules & regulations of this tournament?
The Pan Celtic tournament is regulated by An Cumann Camógaíochta playing rules as stated on the www.camogie.ie website. Normal Camogie rules apply. Teams will play 15 aside games.

Who grades the teams that enter into the Pan Celtic Tournament?
Leinster Camogie Council will grade all teams that enter into the Pan Celtic Tournament for 2012.
