Patsy Fahey of St. Joseph‘s Doora Barefield has been ratified as the new Manager/Coach for the Clare Senior Camogie team. Fahey will bring a wealth of experience to the job.  He was involved with camogie teams in St. Joseph‘s in the early millennium and also with the Clare U18 squad of 2004.

He is also well known in hurling terms as he was trainer of Gort when they reached the county final in 2008. He has also trained Corofin of Clare and worked with his native Barefield last year.

Fahey knows this is a building process, and that it may take a couple of years to get to the top.  However, he says “”I am looking forward to the challenge and it will be good to measure ourselves against the top sides and try to move our standard up a level or two””.
