Area of activity in which placement is offered:
Communications & Marketing
Participants will gain experience in:
Assisting with public relations and marketing for high profile events including award ceremonies, annual organisation AGM and fund-raising events. The candidate will be required to assist with the organisation of photo-calls, media briefings, launches and press releases. Assistance will also be required to co-ordinate the publication of corporate literature, promotional material and update the organisation website. The participant will also gain experience in the areas of sponsorship, including researching sponsorship proposals.
Person specification:
High levels of initiative and the ability to work to deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Garda vetting will also apply.

Accounts Assistant – WPP2
Area of activity in which placement is offered:
Accounts preparation, book keeping and general office work.
Participants will gain experience in:
Accounts preparation and book keeping. Participants will also be involved in two large events within the organisation – examining budgeting and cost analysis of the events. Excellent experience for anyone considering a career in accountancy. Full training and guidance will be given and experience in all aspects of accountancy will be obtained from this placement.
Person specification
Ideal candidate would be interested in pursuing a career in accountancy, have excellent interpersonal skills and a good team player. Garda vetting will also apply.
