Over 250 people were in attendance at the event in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel. Ms. Howard was in good company on the night with previous winners of the award Louis Fitzgerald, Babs Keating and others as well as the Hall of Fame recipient Tony Wall.
Uachtarßn Tofa Joan O’Flynn was also there on the night to congratulate the President was were Iar-Uachtarßn Mary Fennelly and Miriam O’Callaghan. O’Callaghan also received the equivalent award in Offaly during her term as President of Cumann Cam¾gaÝochta na nGael.
