President to attend Feile na nGael launch
The launch of Feile na nGael takes place in the West County Hotel, Ennis tonight (Thursday, May 20th) at 7.00pm
President of the Camogie Association Joan O’Flynn, Ard Sti·rth¾ir Sinead O’Connor, Uachtarßn Chumann L·thchleas Gael CrÝost¾ir Ë Cuana and President of the Handball Association Tony Hannon will be amongst those in attendance as well as past and present GAA stars.
Speaking about Feile na nGael President Joan O’Flynn highlighted the important role that Feile plays for all young players.
“”After 40 years a growing, Feile na nGael is well established as the top national sports event for young Camogie players, hurlers and handballers. It’s a festival in every sense of the word. It’s about fun, enjoyment, participation, sportsmanship, neighbourliness and community.””

It gives young players, their parents, families and club the opportunity to enjoy Camogie on a national stage and to become more aware of the extent and nature of the game in other counties.””
As part of preparations for Feile na nGael 2010, representatives from the Camogie Association, GAA and Handball have been visiting primary schools throughout the county this week.
Feile na nGael 2010 begins on Friday June 18th in Clare with the finals taking place on Sunday June 20th.
