Having played out a hard-fought draw last weekend these sides will do battle again to determine who will collect the coveted All-Ireland title. Clanmaurice lead for long periods of the original tie before being pegged back late on, only to once more take the lead with a late goal that appeared to have secured victory for the Kerry side. However, Kilmessan responded immediately with some determined attacking play that saw them score a dramatic late goal to equalise in the dying seconds of injury time.

Clanmaurice overcame Athleague of Roscommon in the Semi-Final thanks to a last-minute goal from Jessica Fitzell to secure a 3 point victory. having already won the Munster Junior Club Championship Final by beating na Piarsaigh of Limerick. Clanmaurice can also make history as the first Kerry side to contest win an All-Ireland Club Final.

All-Ireland Junior Club Championship champions in 2014, Kilmessan are seeking to add a second All-Ireland title to their collection. They won the Leinster Junior Club Championship, defeating Raharney of Westmeath before convincingly defeating Crosserlough of Cavan in the All-Ireland Semi-Final.
