We take a look at this weekend's crucial Irish Daily Star National League Division 1, Group 2 Play-Off with a crucial Semi-Final place at stake:

Saturday April 2nd

Cork v Limerick
Both of these sides come into this tie having completed their group matches with an identical record of 3 wins and 1 defeat each as well as finishing on the same points difference. Limerick got the better of the sides when they met in the opening round of matches with an impressive five point victory, before suffering their only defeat to table topping Kilkenny last weekend. All-Ireland champions Cork will be looking to maintain their winning ways having picked up three successive wins since losing on the opening weekend of the season as they look to reach the knock-out stages once more in 2016 having finished as runner-up last year.

Referee: Alan Lagrue (Kildare) Venue: Mallow GAA Throw-in: 3.30pm

The winner of this tie will face reigning National League champions Galway in the Semi-Finals on Sunday April 17th.
