We take a look at this weekend’s action in the All-Ireland Minor A & B Championships Finals:

Saturday April 22nd

All-Ireland Minor A Championship Final
Clare v Galway
MacDonagh Park, Nenagh
Throw-in: 4pm
Referee: Liz Dempsey (Kilkenny)
 
Clare topped their group courtesy of score difference after a three-way tie for top spot with Galway and Kilkenny before defeating Dublin in the Semi-Final. They are aiming to win their very first Minor A title. Galway finished second in their group courtesy of score difference after a three-way tie for top spot with Clare and Kilkenny, before overcoming Cork in the Semi-Final to reach today’s Final. They are hoping to win their first Minor A title since 2012.
 
All-Ireland Minor B Championship Final
Antrim v Kildare
Inniskeen Grattans GAA
Throw-in: 2pm
Referee: Philip McDonald (Cavan)
 
Antrim topped their group with a 100% record after three comprehensive victories before overcoming Laois in the Semi-Final. They will be hoping to win the Minor B title for the first time since 2007. Kildare were also dominant in the group stage with a 100% record before defeating Meath at the Semi-Final stage to reach the Final. Should they be victorious then they will lift the Minor B title for the very first time.
