In another crucial weekend across the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Camogie Championships we look ahead to the Semi-Finals of the Premier Junior Championship with four sides battling it out to book their places in Croke Park on September 13th. All the action takes place on Sunday with a double-header in Birr.

Liberty Insurance Premier Junior Camogie Championship Semi-Final
Laois v Westmeath, St. Brendan’s Park, Birr, 1.30pm, Referee: Fintan McNamara (Clare)
Laois take on Westmeath with both sides looking to secure a place in the Final as they both seek to win this title for the very first time.
Laois topped the group stage in impressive fashion, with a 100% record and will be looking to continue this form against Westmeath having beaten them comfortable back in mid-July.
Westmeath finished fourth in the group stage following wins over Armagh and Limerick, but will need to cause an upset in order to reach the Final in Croke Park.
Dublin v Roscommon, St. Brendan’s Park, Birr, 3.15pm, Referee: Gráinne Coulter (Down)
Dublin face Roscommon where Dublin will be looking to win back the title they last won in 2006 when they won back-to-back titles. Roscommon meanwhile, will be looking to reach Croke Park as they look to win their very first title at this level.
Dublin finished second in the group stage, suffering their only defeat at the hands of a dominant Laois side who topped the group. Roscommon came third in the group following wins over Armagh, Limerick and Westmeath.
The Dubs won by ten points when the sides met in mid-July and Roscommon will therefore need to improve considerably on this performance if they hope to progress to the Final on September 13th.
