Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues
Saturday, February 18th
Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues Division 1, Group 1
Cork v Dublin
All-Ireland runners-up Cork will be looking to bounce-back from the heartbreak of September’s All-Ireland Final defeat and start the campaign with victory over the Dubs. Dublin under the stewardship of their new manager, former Kilkenny hurling All-Ireland winning goalkeeper David Herity face a tough challenge as they travel south to the Rebel County.
Referee: Ray Kelly (Kildare)
Venue: Mallow GAA
Throw-in: 3pm
Kilkenny v Tipperary
Current League and All-Ireland Champions Kilkenny will look to continue their all-conquering form from 2016 against Tipp as they set out to defend the League crown. This young Tipperary side will be looking for revenge having narrowly lost out after extra-time at the Semi-Final stage against the Cats in the League in 2016.
Referee: Owen Elliott (Antrim)
Venue: MW Hire Training Centre, Kilkenny

Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues Division 1, Group 2
Clare v Galway
Clare have great room to improve after a disappointing 2016 where they failed to progress from the group stage in either the League or Championship and face a stern test in the visit of Galway. League runners-up last year Galway will look to get off to a good start as they try to build on a very positive 2016 where they challenged on all fronts.
Referee: Cathal Egan (Cork)
Venue: Whitegate GAA
Throw-in: 2pm
Limerick v Meath
After a strong League campaign in 2016 Limerick faltered in the Championship but will go into this game confident of securing a home victory as they aim to match last year’s League Semi-Final berth. Newcomers to Division 1 Meath will be on a steep learning curve in this campaign but will likely target this match as an opportunity to take a scalp from one of the establishment.
Referee: Fintan McNamara (Clare)
Venue: Rathkeale GAA

Littlewoods Ireland Camogie Leagues Division 1, Group 1
Waterford v Wexford
Na Déise impressed in 2016 in their first year at Senior level, more than holding their own and will now hope to kick on with a good start to the League in a derby match. Wexford will hope to continue their strong finish to 2016 which saw them suffer heartbreak as they lost out to Cork in the All-Ireland Semi-Final after extra-time.
Referee: Liz Dempsey (Kilkenny)
Venue: WIT Carriganore
Throw-in: 3.30pm
