Dublin v Waterford
Dublin suffered an opening round defeat away to Cork last weekend losing by six points and will hope to get a first win under new boss David Herity this weekend. Waterford put in an impressive display last weekend and were unlucky to lose out by a single point against a strong Wexford side and will hope to take a big away win.

Wexford will be well prepared for this encounter having been pushed all the way in their opener last weekend as they defeated Waterford by a single point. League and All-Ireland champions Kilkenny continued as they left off in 2016 as they brushed Tipperary aside in a comprehensive victory last weekend.

Meath v Clare
Meath fell to defeat against Limerick last weekend in their first match at this level but more than held their own. Clare will be looking to bounce back from a heavy defeat to Galway last weekend and will see this as a must win match to get themselves back on track.

Offaly v Galway
This is Offaly’s opening match and they will hope to cause an upset against last year’s All-Ireland Semi-Finalists. League finalists in 2016, Galway will be full of confidence having already won on the road last week as they convincingly dismissed of Clare.
