Previews – Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship

Saturday June 24th

Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship, Group 2

Cork v Limerick
Cork come into this game with lots of confidence as they aim to build on their 9 point triumph over Tipperary on the opening weekend. Cork manager Paudie Murray will be looking for another impressive performance from his backline as they only conceded 1-7 to a strong Tipperary attack. Limerick will be hoping to bounce back quickly after a narrow defeat to Offaly on their opening day. Limerick will see this as a must win game for them as they aim to reach the knockout stages.

Referee: Fintan McNamara (Clare)
Venue: Páirc Uí Rinn
Throw-in: 2.30pm

Wexford v Offaly
After a disappointing finish to their League campaign, Wexford will be eager to put on a good display in front of a home crowd and start their campaign with a win. However it won’t be easy as they come up against an Offaly team who are full of confidence after their impressive display against Limerick on the opening day. Offaly’s win was by the narrowest of margins and they know another win for them could help them secure a place in the knockout stages.

Referee: Ray Kelly (Kildare)
Venue: Innovate Wexford Park
