The referees for the 2017 Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Championship Finals have now been confirmed. Cork, Dublin, Kilkenny, Meath and Westmeath will travel to Croke Park on Sunday September 10th in the hope of taking home coveted All-Ireland trophies.
 
Owen Elliott of Antrim will take charge of the Senior Final between Cork and Kilkenny. Owen, a member of the All Saints Club in Ballymena took charge of this year’s National League Division 1 Final between Cork and Kilkenny. He has also refereed Senior Club All-Ireland Finals in both 2011 and 2012 as well as numerous other Finals across various competitions.
 
Kilkenny’s Liz Dempsey will oversee the Intermediate Final between Cork and Meath. Liz, a member of the Thomastown Club was the referee for the 2014 All-Ireland Premier Junior Final as well as the All-Ireland Junior B Final in 2013. This year she has also overseen the Ashbourne Cup Final and All-Ireland Minor A Final.
 
Philip McDonald of Cavan will referee the Premier Junior Final between Dublin and Westmeath. A Bailieborough Shamrocks Camogie Club member, Philip refereed this year's Junior Interprovincial Final and has previously been part of match official teams for multiple All-Ireland Finals.
