The Camogie Association is looking for clubs to host a Halloween Teenage Camp for girls aged 13–17, playing camogie with fun, friendship and activities beyond the pitch!
Provide an opportunity for your teens to get creative and make it a camp your teenage players will love, with fun games, trying new things, and bringing in new fun ideas to Camogie.

Each camp incorporates camogie with other activities that could complement Camogie; for example, other sports, hobbies, interests, leadership talks and is for girls aged 13-17 years. Although the camps are multiactivity, camogie is the focal point. Including other activities that could enhance camogie, such as other movement games/sports, hobbies, interests, and non-sport activities that empower and keep adolescent girls active. These camps are for 13–17-year-old girls.

These camps will be at least 4.5 hours each day for 3-4 days (or more if desired), which can be done in the evening or during the day).

  • Each day must consist of at least 2 camogie sessions (skills, games, fun games) and 2 other activities per day – 6 different activities throughout the week.
  • Examples such as friendship bracelets, old school games, painting/decorating hurls & sliotars, dance, social media/photography, volleyball, baking, music and leadership. Be as creative as you wish with the activities.

The Camogie Association are looking for clubs to host a Halloween Camp in your area and county. Applications are now open for clubs to host a camp in their club.

Register your interest here:  https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/G5pfYNSHUS

  • Each successful club will receive a grant of €400 to host the camp, plus 50% of the participation fee following the completion of the camp (approx. €22.50 to the club per attendee).
  • Registration is through the Camogie Association, cost to attend is €50 per teen,; we will supply a booking link to be shared to networks to sign up for the camp.

Host clubs must supply the venue and coaches (both camogie, and other hobbies). The club will oversee the running of the camp and communicate with the participants on the layout of the camp.

The Camogie will provide the registration links and poster templates, supply hoodies for each participant- note hoodie order needs to go in 5-6 weeks before the camp to arrive on time.

The overarching aim is to provide, inspire and support more teenage girls to be more involved in Camogie. We are aiming to provide this opportunity to motivate young girls to enjoy playing camogie, build their confidence and empower them to play more camogie in a relaxed environment while also incorporating other things that they may be interested in.

Deadline for expressing interest is 12pm 14th of September

This expression of interest request must be submitted using your official @camogie.ie email address. Please note only club applications will be accepted.
