Cork’s dual dynamo, Hannah Looney, sure knows how to switch things on when she takes to a gaelic football or camogie pitch, but more recently she has also been enjoying some downtime outside of the lines of Gaelic Games. Living in Kilkenny, working in Tipperary and venturing back and forth between Dublin and Cork to check in with her girlfriend Miah and her family back home, the Aghada and Killeagh club woman is no stranger to travelling. Taking that to a major extent last year, she exchanged the rebel county for the Big Apple and moved to New York city when an opportunity arose to work with MSD as a chemical engineer in October of 2021, where she planned to stay for a year.
