Everyone involved in the Camogie Association is shocked and saddened to hear the news of the sudden passing of Ard Chomhairle member Pat Martin this week.
Pat had been an invaluable member of Ard Chomhairle as well as Dublin and Leinster Camogie, which he had been involved in for many years. His dedication to the game had left a huge mark at all levels and his loss will be greatly felt by all who knew him.
Leading the tributes Uachtarán an Cumann Camógaíochta Kathleen Woods said: “We are all shocked at this sad news. Our thoughts and prayers are with Pat’s family at this difficult and unexpected time.
“Pat had been centrally involved in Camogie at all levels from Club to National level for many years and he was held in the highest regard by all who knew him.
“Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.”
