Camogie players under 8 years of age can now register for free as members of the Camogie Association. The only cost that applies is the cost of the club's membership fee.
This follows a decision by delegates at the Camogie Congress last year to make it easier for clubs to fully register the number of young children involved in Camogie.
Previously, a payment of €13 was required to register as members of the Camogie Association through the youth membership category. This sum now only applies to young people aged between 8 and 18 years of age.
All registrations for 2017 are now open via the Servasport system in operation at club level throughout the Camogie Association.
Registrations must be made on the system no later than 29th April 2017.
