Ulster Coaching Academy off to Flying Start
Ulster Camogie are mid-way through their 2016 Ulster Coach Academy being held in the Tyrone GAA Centre of Excellence in Garvaghy. The Programme is in its 3rd year of operation and with 12 participating coaches involved this year. These coaches are all working with their county teams from underage up to adult level. Counties represented include Antrim, Armagh, Derry, Down, Cavan and Donegal. Guest speakers and coaches this year have included All Ireland winning Coaches Mick Dempsey and Martin Fogarty. Thanks to the Ulster U16 development squad for participating in the practical sessions.

Wicklow and Derry ready for Club Forum’s this weekend
The Wicklow and Derry Camogie Boards are all set for their forums which takes place this Saturday January 30th. Details below. Best wishes to both counties on these very exciting initiatives.
 
 
 
 
19 Coaches Get a Grip in Dublin
A Camán Get a Grip Course took place in Na Fianna GAA club on Saturday January 23rd last with 19 coaches completing the course. Thanks to tutors Nollaig Ryan, Mark McManus and James Devlin.
 
 
 
In other news in Dublin the Dublin Post Primary Senior schools finals were on Friday January 22nd last in Clanna Gael GAA Club. St.Joseph’s Lucan beat Our Lady’s Terenure in a very tight game on a score line of 3-5 to 2-6.

Camán Get a Grip Limerick
24 coaches from Limerick completed the Camán Get a Grip Coaching Course Saturday January 23rd in Monaleen GAA club. Thanks to April Purcell and Eileen Gleeson for tutoring on the course. Best wishes to all the coaches who completed the course.
