Our 2020 Volunteer and Media Awards winners are a part of Camogie history after being recognised during our first virtual Volunteer and Media Awards event on Saturday.

Recipients of the Volunteer of the Year from all over Ireland were recognised by their counties for their dedication and commitment to Camogie throughout 2020, in what was one of the most difficult years in recent memory.

After receiving a high number of entries from various media outlets, we also paid tribute to the six winners of our Media Awards.

Eileen Dunne was our MC for the event in honour of her father Mick Dunne, who three of our Media Awards are named after.

Cillian Whelan was on interview duty during the week, catching up with two of our Volunteer winners, Carlow recipient Karen Byrne and Tipperary winner Geraldine Kinane while also getting the thoughts of two of our Media Award winners, Aoife Lanigan, PRO of the Year and Darren Kelly from Sportsdaz.ie who claimed the Digital Promotion award.

The event was streamed on our Facebook and YouTube Channels and if you missed any of the action you can watch it back here.

Congratulations to all our Volunteer and Media Awards winners!
