Munster
Waterford 5-21 beat Karry 0-07 | Munster Semi-Final
Waterford travelled to Fitzgerald Stadium to face off with Kerry in the second Munster semi-final, with the Déise putting the Kingdom to the sword, showcasing their class in a convincing victory. Waterford’s forwards set the tone early in the game, with Player of the Match Annie Fitzgerald hitting 2-01 along with talismanic forwards Beth Carton and Niamh Rockett combining for 1-12 between them. For Division 2 champions Kerry, this experience will stand to them as they look to get back to the decider of the Intermediate Championship on August 9th, having been beaten at the final stage last year
Leinster
Wexford v Dublin | Leinster Senior Final | Friday May 8th 7.45pm | Netwatch Cullen Park, Carlow
Wexford and Dublin face off in the Leinster final on Friday night with both teams looking to lay down a marker before the start of their All-Ireland Senior Championship bids on the weekend of May 23rd/24th. That date will seem a long way away for these two teams who will be solely focused on getting over the line to claim the Leinster title. Dublin won the first encounter between the two sides back on February 28th, but Wexford will be feeling confident off the back of eliminating the reigning champions Kilkenny in the semi-final. With the two sides meeting again on the first weekend in June, this rivalry is sure to produce another tightly contested affair
Westmeath v Laois | Leinster Intermediate Final | Sunday May 10th 1pm | TEG Cusack Park, Mullingar
Westmeath welcome Laois to TEG Cusack Park for the Leinster Intermediate Final with the Lake County seeking revenge for their defeat to Laois earlier in the season. On the final day of league action, last year’s Premier Junior All-Ireland Champions defeated Westmeath 2-10 to 1-11 and will be hoping for a similar result when the two sides meet on Sunday. With an Intermediate Championship campaign on the horizon, both teams will be hoping to pick up a momentum building win with glory on the line.
Ulster
Antrim v Down | Ulster Senior Final | Friday May 8th 7.30pm | Location TBC
Fresh off their Division 1A exploits, including a victory over All-Ireland Champions Cork, Antrim are looking to regain their Ulster title once again when they face off with Down in the final. They will face a stiff challenge however, with Down not being a side to go down without a fight. Having lost to their opponents in last year’s semi-final, Down will be out for revenge as both sides gear up for the start of the Intermediate Championship.
Cavan v Tyrone – Ulster Intermediate Final | Monaghan v Donegal – Ulster Junior Final
Cavan and Tyrone face off for the Intermediate Championship in a fixture that sees Cavan return to intercounty adult action following their un-inclusion in the Centra Camogie League. Meanwhile Monaghan and Mayo square off again in a repeat of their fixture from the league campaign, in which Monaghan came out winners.
