There were a total of 54 players in attendance during the jam packed 3 days.
The focus of the week was to cover all skills of camogie in depth and to introduce these skills in team play situations, but most importantly including a fun element throughout.
The coaches during the 3 days were Wexford inter-county Camogie players and
All Stars, Mags Darcy, Mary Leacy, Una Leacy and Catherine O’Loughlin, who all proved a big hit with the girls as they passed on their knowledge and advice throughout the camp.
There was Skills development, Fun Games, Match Play, Nutritional talks and on the last day the Coaches held a Questions and Answers session, which proved to be very interesting. All participants left with an Azzurri boot bag packed with goodies.
This Camp proved to be a huge success proving that Camogie at youth level and Camogie Development is thriving throughout Wexford. Credit is due to all involved.
