The Match Officials have now been confirmed for the 2020 Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Championships Finals which will take place over the next two weekends.

Galway deservedly retained their grip on the O’Duffy Cup but though vanquished, Tipperary’s improvement continues. 

Winners write history and Kilkenny manager Brian Dowling was able to laud his players for staying with their game plan, even when it looked fit for the shredder in the opening quarter, while his Cork counterpart Paudie Murray had to reject criticism of his blueprint, arguing with strong evidence that it proved devastating in that initial period and that a failure to abide by the process might, in fact, have been what cost the Rebels. 

Galway and Kilkenny will contest the 2020 Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Final on Saturday December 12th under the lights of Croke Park with a 7pm throw-in.

A 15th minute goal by Carrie Dolan gave Galway the breathing space they seemed satisfied with as they held Tipperary at bay to set up a repeat of last year’s Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Final against Kilkenny. 

Goals from Anne Dalton and Miriam Walsh, and a doughty defensive effort in the final quarter especially enabled Kilkenny recover from an early six-point deficit to record a fantastic victory over old rivals Cork and seal a place in the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Final.

The Camogie Association are delighted to confirm that the 2020 Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Intermediate and Premier Junior Championships Finals will once more be broadcast live on the RTÉ News Channel and also on the RTÉ Player International. With four Ulster sides competing on Saturday December 5th, the Finals will also be broadcast live via the BBC iPlayer.

Aoife McGrath says that Tipperary are just delighted to be in the last four and not considering the magnitude of attempting to dethrone the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior champions.
