Cork Camogie Coaching Camp

On Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd February at St Finbarrs Hurling and Football Club a select group of Cork Camogie players are hosting a Camogie Coaching Camp for players aged between 11 – 16years. The cost of this Camp is €30 per participant and all proceeds from this Camp are going towards the Players Fund.

This Coaching Camp is open to all club camogie players within the Cork area. The idea behind this camp is to promote the skills of camogie to our future stars. 

“”Sport in Cork is striving and particularly Gaelic Games, Camogie participation levels are on the increase, we hope to pass on our knowledge and advice to these young stars””.  Current Cork Camogie players including Emer O’Farrell, Lynda O’Connell, Gemma O’Connor and Jenny Duffy are the driving force behind this camp.  They will be coaching in the Camp along with other inter-county Cork players. The Camp will be jam packed with different events, Elite and Specialised Coaching, specific to each age group, Nutritional advice and awareness, Indoor Hurling Alley skills & drills session, Goalkeeping Sessions, Matchplay, along with a Questions and Answers session with Corks All-Star Camogie players and photograph opportunities with O’ Duffy Cup and members of Victorious Cork Camogie Panel.
 
At the end of the Camp all the participants will receive a certificate of attendance along with a Camogie goodie bag to take home.
