Colm also welcomed the appointment of Eve Talbot as Regional Development Officer for Kildare (in association with Dublin) and said this is a fantastic step forward. He continued: æThe attendance and interest in recent coaching workshops in three centres throughout the county has been excellent and is a great foundation for the future. Over the coming years, the creation of more development opportunities is exciting. Along with the day to day business of administering and promoting the games, we will continue to work together to realise the potential of Kildare camogie and to give as many as possible to opportunity to play and enjoy it’.
Liz Roche, previously Registrar of the County Board makes a return in her new role as County Secretary. Willie Pierce will assist Liz while Joan O’Flynn returns in the PRO role. All other officers posts were returned unopposed. The 2008 Executive agreed at the Convention is as follows:
