GAA Museum Club Wall
The GAA is pleased to confirm the re-design and re-opening of the ‘Club Wall’ to mark the 25th Anniversary of the GAA Museum at Croke Park.
The popular installation, which showcases crests from every club globally, has been updated and recreated to reflect the growth of our sports. Each unique crest tells a story and is often linked to the folklore, geography or culture of an individual club.
The new version of the wall includes all LGFA and Camogie clubs in addition to Handball and Rounders units.
The GAA Museum put a call out to all clubs across all associations at home and abroad in September 2023.
Clubs were asked to submit their crests and after months of work a new modern and illuminated Club Wall was installed.
It was unveiled before the GAA AIB Senior Club finals in Croke Park last Sunday by Uachtarán CLG Labhrás MacCarthaigh.
Speaking at the unveiling, Uachtarán CLG said: “The new ‘Club Wall’ at the GAA Museum physically shows us the growth and strength of our clubs at home and all over the world.
“The club lies at the heart of our communities and our sports. I’m delighted that those who visit us here at Croke Park will see all our clubs showcased in such a memorable way.”
