The Camogie Association is excited to announce a unique opportunity for suppliers to participate in our upcoming Menstrual Cycle Campaign, aimed at educating and supporting players and fostering a positive environment by reducing stigma associated with periods.
Project Overview:
We are seeking proposals from qualified suppliers to provide bespoke Period Packs as part of our initiative. The goal is to offer essential period products to Camogie players in an accessible manor.
Key Requirements:
Period Pack
The Period Packs should be tailored to the specific needs of Camogie players and must include but are not limited to:
- Menstrual Products:
- Tampons (various sizes)
- Sanitary pads (various sizes)
- Personal Hygiene:
- Wet wipes or intimate cleansing wipes
- Tissues
- Hand sanitizer
- Disposal and Storage:
- Period Pack bag to hold all contents and display Camogie Association logo.
- Disposal bags for used menstrual products.
- Sealable (waterproof) plastic bags for storage of Menstrual products.
- Comfort and Support:
- Heat packs for relieving cramps.
Inclusion of any additional products or features that enhance the overall player experience is encouraged. The Camogie Association will provide educational resources to be included in the Period Pack.
Delivery
Include provision of distribution of Period Packs to clubs as well as timeframe for delivery.
Quantity Requirements:
Tender submissions are invited for four separate quantities of Period packs:
- 150
- 300
- 450
- 650
Submission Instructions:
Interested parties are invited to submit a comprehensive tender response by Tuesday April 9th at 5.30pm, outlining the following:
- Company Profile: Provide an overview of your company, including relevant experience in supplying similar products.
- Product Proposal: Clearly describe the proposed Period Packs, addressing each key requirement outlined in the project overview.
- Cost Proposal: Provide a detailed breakdown of costs, including product costs, packaging, delivery, and any applicable taxes or fees for.
Submission Deadline:
All tender submissions must be received by Tuesday April 9th at 5.30pm.
Consideration of proposals:
Proposals will be evaluated by reference to the following qualification criteria:
- Completeness of tender documentation
- Stated ability of tenderer to meet requirements set out in this procurement request.
- Receipt of proposal on or before the closing date for submission will be considered.
Only those tenders that meet these criteria will be considered eligible for inclusion in the evaluation process. The contract will be awarded on consideration of the following criteria and while the Camogie Association is not restricted to awarding the contract (s) on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender solely, cost will be an important factor (work may also be split between suppliers across the various sections outlined above):
- value for money
- track record in similar provision of products
- ability to deliver key outputs on time
- costs breakdown
- justification of proposed costs
- best use of resources
- approach to management of Camogie Association account
- prices will remain valid for 12 months
