Places in the Leinster Senior Camogie Championship final are on offer on Sunday. Wexford who were beaten in the recent Irish Daily Star National League Final travel to Dublin to take on the home side in O'Toole Park, Crumlin. On their last visit in March for the League, they suffered a surprise 7 points defeat to Denis Murphy's charges writes Leinster Camogie PRO Gerry O'Sullivan.
In an interesting twist – both goalkeepers on Sunday are supplied by the Na Fianna club in Dublin. Mags Darcy has recently joined the Mobhi Road crew and will line out in her familiar position for Wexford although she has been featuring at full-back for her new club. While Dublin give Na Fianna 'keeper Hannah McInerney her first start of the season between the posts. Dublin full forward Sarah Ryan will have an added responsibility on Sunday as earlier in the day she will be godmother at the christening of her sister Elaine's recent arrival.
Wexford include familiar names like Mary Leacy, Karen Atkinson, Ursula Jacob, Karina Parrock in their starting 15 while Dublin have 11 of the team that lined out in their league victory.
The picturesque Thomastown grounds will host the meeting of Kilkenny and Offaly. The Cats were 9 points winners in their league encounter but the midlanders will take heart from their historic first win over Kilkenny last year when they reached the Leinster final for the first time.
In the Junior Competition – Division 4 Irish Daily Star League winners Carlow move up two notches when they take on Division 2 League runners up Kildare while Division 3 League winners Laois face another Division 2 side Meath.
