Play in My Boots Launch.
The GAA in partnership with St.Patricks Mental Health Foundation launched an innovative resource designed to support the emotional wellbeing of club players and members. The launch took place in Croke Park and Deirdre Burke, Galway Camogie player represented Camogie at the launch. The ‘Play in my Boots’ packs aim to remind the GAA population that maintaining mental fitness requires work and skill development in the same way as maintaining physical fitness. The packs will be available to all Camogie clubs in soft copy and will be distributed to all contacts in the coming weeks.

Camogie Easter camps huge Success!
Camogie Easter camps are underway all around the country. Most enjoyed lovely sunshine as they enjoyed playing camogie on their easter break from school.
Pictured above are the U10 girls enjoying the fun at the recent Tooreen (Co.Mayo) hurling/camogie Easter Camp along with coaches Aisling Lynskey and Daniel Cunnane. The event was part of the 'Every child gets a Go' week within Mayo GAA. In all 92 National School children from the area took part in the camp. Throughout the course of the three day event, all players got to experience coaching and games of all the GAA sports.

Galway
56 girls attended a camogie camp in kilrickle Galway this week. Above Heather Cooney, Galway player signed autographs at the camp.
DCU Easter camp took place from the 22nd-24th April with over 70 girls attending. DCU camogie club were involved in the running of the camp including coaching along with Dublin GAA GPO’s.
Kilkenny- easter camp took place in O’Loughlin gaels. Thanks to O Loughlin Gaels for the facilities and all the coaches on the camp.

Waterford- Easter camp took place in Abbeyside Waterford with 28 girls in attendance. Shona Curran from Lismore attended camp with All Ireland intermediate club cup.
Limerick- 2 camps took place in Limerick in Monaleen and Newcastle West. The camps were run by the Limerick County Intermediate team.
Offaly- An under 14 development Easter camp took place on the 17th April in Birr Co.Offaly with 30 girls attending the camp.
Graduation of Camogie Tutors for Coaching
Noel McSweeney Wexford and Ross Corbett Regional Development Co Ordinator for Munster both graduated as Camogie Coaching Tutors at a ceremony in the University of Limerick on Saturday 5th April.

Meath Referee Course for Teenagers
Meath Camogie are organising a referees course that targets teenagers. The course takes place in Rataoth GAA club on Thursday 24th April from 10am – 1.30pm. The aim of the course is to give girls the skills to referee Go Games and matches up to U12 level. The course is free of charge. Interested girls can contact Caroline on 087 9954808 to book a place.

Coaching Workshops in Offaly and Dublin
A new club workshop took place in Thomas Davis Club in Dublin for 3 new clubs- Beann Eadair, Stars of Erin and Clontarf on the 16th April with 18 coaches from all three clubs attending new club workshops.
A basic skills workshop with information on Go Games, rules and fixtures took place in Banagher Offaly on 14th April with 27 coaches attending the workshop

Westmeath goalkeeping workshop with All star goalkeeper Susan Earner
Susan Earner Galway’s two time All Star and All Ireland winner delivered an excellent goalkeeping workshop in Mullingar Co. Westmeath on the 7th April with 17 coaches attending the session and picking up goal keeping tips from Susan on the night.
