‘Selfies’ a must at Camogie Summer Camps!
80 girls attended a 4 day camogie specific camp in St. Brendan's Park Birr from August 9-12th. Clubs involved included Birr, St. Cillians, Shinrone, Naomh Bríd, St. Rynaghs, Lusmagh, Kinnitty & Kilcormac Killoughey.

Other players who coached on the camp included Ann Marie Guinan and Mary Wyer. Galway hurler Jason Flynn (pictured above) also dropped in for a visit to the camp during the week.

Meanwhile in Longford camps took place in Pearse Park and in Longford Slashers with 40 girls and boys at camp in Pearse Park and 90 girls and boys at camp in Longford slashers.

Tyrone win Under 16 Progress to Success Final 2016!
The Under 16 Progress to Success programme was set up this year to give under 16 games to counties Tyrone, Monaghan, Mayo, Donegal and Wicklow. Each of the counties received a mentor as part of the programme to guide them in relation to skill development of their players and in terms of structures for this age group in their county. Tyrone and Wicklow participated in the final on Sunday August 28th in the National GAA Games Development Centre in Abbotstown. Final score: Tyrone 3-10 Wicklow 1-8.

Ulster Hurl with Me Day
The Ulster Hurl with Me day took place in Tyrone Centre of Excellence on August 27th. This day brought all clubs involved in the Ulster Hurl with Me Day together to play in blitzes against each other. Both daughters and parents played games on the day against other clubs in the programme.
