The Camogie Association is delighted to announce the appointments of Brendan McCabe as Finance Manager and James Heffernan as Youth Development Co-ordinator.
Brendan joins the Association as Finance Manager from the Irish Greyhound Board where he also held the position of Finance Manager. Brendan has previously worked in a number of different accountancy firms throughout his career.
Brendan's academic studies have included a BA in Finance as well as Chartered Accountant examinations.
James joins the Association as Youth Development Co-ordinator from Leinster Council GAA where he worked for over 11 years as a Games Development Administrator to develop and implement new initiatives to promote and sustain involvement of young people and adults in GAA Clubs and Gaelic Games.
James holds numerous Gaelic Games coaching qualifications as well as other qualfications in areas such as Strength and Conditioning
James's academic studies are in Sports Science and Training & Education.
Both Brendan and James have commenced their roles this week
