The details have been confirmed for the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Senior Championship Semi-Finals which will take place in Semple Stadium, Thurles on Saturday August 18th.
In the first match of the double-header Galway will take on Kilkenny at 5.30pm. Galway were impressive winners over Dublin in last weekend's Quarter-Final whilst Kilkenny topped Group 1 with a 100% record to seal a direct passage to the Semi-Finals.
The second match sees reigning champions Cork face Tipperary at 7.15pm. The Rebels dominated Group 2 with a 100% record and will take on a Tipperary side who won a hard-fought encounter with Waterford in the Quarter-Finals.
Both matches will be broadcast live on RTÉ Two and should either match end in a draw then extra-time will be played.
The winners of these ties will advance to the Liberty Insurance All-Ireland Championships Finals which will take place on Sunday September 9th in Croke Park.
