A new Camogie club has set up in Tubbercurry, Sligo. There are approximately 35-40 players registered to play from the ages of 7-13 years. Players come from Holy Family National school in Tubbercurry along with other national schools in the area including Cloonacool, Bunninadden, Castlerock, Curry and Moylough. Rachel Muldoon who teaches in Holy Family National school is the main contact for the new camogie club in the area. The girls train every thurday night in Tubbercurry GAA pitch at 6.30pm. Thanks to Mick Burke from the GAA club for use of the pitch and John Mulllins (GAA schools coach) who helped coach at the ‘Come & Try it ‘ evening.
