Dublin camogie received a timely boost with an emphatic win over Tipperary champions Burgess-Duharra in sweltering heat at Cusack Park in the division one final. Goals win games at any level and the ability of Lucan to create and execute proved the winning of the premier camogie crown.

Burgess hit back in the opening half with a brace of points from midfielder Jenny Grace to retire (5-1) to (0-2) in arrears at the interval.
