The 2026 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie Championships have been officially launched today, Monday 11th May, at Croke Park, setting the stage for another summer of high-quality inter-county action across four grades.
The championships will see teams from across the country compete in the Senior, Intermediate, Premier Junior and Junior tiers, with the journey culminating in All-Ireland Finals Day at Croke Park on Sunday, August 9th.
Uachtarán an Chumainn Camógaíochta, Brian Molloy, welcomed the launch of the championships and called on supporters to turn out through the summer and also on August 9th:
“The launch of the 2026 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Championships marks the beginning of another hugely exciting summer for camogie. Year on year, we continue to see rising standards, thrilling contests and extraordinary commitment from our players, and I have no doubt supporters across the country will once again witness a fantastic championship campaign.
“I want to thank Glen Dimplex for their continued support and commitment to camogie. Their backing has played an important role in helping our championships grow in profile and visibility, while supporting our players and promoting the game at every level.
“I would encourage supporters from every county to get out and support their teams throughout the summer. Our players give an incredible commitment to representing their counties, and they deserve strong support in the stands.
“I am also calling on every camogie supporter to circle Sunday, August 9th in their diary and commit to being in Croke Park for the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Finals. Regardless of which counties qualify, this is our showcase day. A celebration of our sport, our players and our community. Together, we have an opportunity to make a powerful statement about Camogie and continue driving our game forward.”
There is a change in championship structures for 2026, as announced last December. The tier formats remain, with Senior split into groups of four and six, and Intermediate into two groups of four. Seeding sees the 2025 semi-finalists entering Group One, with the top two sides in that group qualifying for the All-Ireland semi-finals. Third and fourth from Group One will progress to the quarter-finals, where they will face off against the top two sides from Group Two.
The action gets underway in May, with Offaly hosting Wexford in the opening round on Saturday 16th May, as part of a double-header with the Leinster GAA Hurling Championship meeting between the same counties.
