2ND Level Schools Development Co-ordinator

Cumann Cam¾gaÝochta na nGael, as part of its National Development Strategy in conjunction with the Irish Sports Council, is seeking to appoint a full-time 2nd Level Schools Development Co-ordinator.  The successful candidate will report to the Ardsti·rth¾ir, Cumann Cam¾gaÝochta na nGael.  The position will be on a one year contract basis.

Role & Responsibilities:
ò Develop Camogie in second level schools
ò Improve structures at county, provincial and national level
ò Co-ordinate administration training for key officers at all levels
ò Organise one-day blitz events in line with the Women in Sport Project
ò Work in conjunction with the current 2nd Level Schools Development Co-ordinator, administrators, Regional Development Co-ordinators and Director of Camogie Development
ò Liaise with Local Sports Partnerships and other bodies where appropriate
ò Work with County Boards (Camogie and GAA)
ò Administer 2nd Level Schools start-up grants

Requirements
ò A good knowledge of Camogie/hurling structures
ò Knowledge of 2nd Level Education structure
ò Strong administrative and IT skills
ò Minimum education standard: Leaving Certificate/A Levels
ò Own car and full clean driving licence

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed to the Gaelic Games ethos, with strong leadership qualities and the ability to multi-task, network and negotiate. This post is ideally suited to candidates with experience in the second level teaching profession.
