An online application form is now open to Camogie clubs in the 26 counties to apply for Sport Ireland funding to support the delivery of ‘Sports for All’ inclusive activities.
This link is for all Camogie clubs in the 26-counties. Sport Ireland Supports are available only to clubs in the 26 counties. Sport NI provide various supports within the 6 counties.The GAA and LGFA have separate application forms for clubs in their associations which can be found on their websites and social media channels.
The funding is designed to support clubs in the provision of inclusive programmes and supports for people with a disability. The fund is designed to support new inclusive initiates and/or enhance those already established in Camogie clubs.
Clubs can apply for total funding of between €1,000 and €5,000 to support one or all the following three areas:
- Disability Supports Education & Training
- Disability Supports Programme Activation and Delivery
- Disability Supports Small Scale Equipment and Infrastructure.
This application process will close to Camogie clubs at 23.45 on Sunday, August 28th
It is anticipated that an announcement of funding allocations will be made by Sport Ireland in December 2022. Applying does not guarantee that funding will be approved.
