GALA ALL IRELAND JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL – NANCY MURRAY CUP

Armagh v Roscommon, Kingspan Breffni Park, Cavan, Saturday 2.30pm

Roscommon are in the final for the second year in succession and having already accounted for Armagh in the round-robin series they will start as warm favourites. They lost out to Meath in 2008 by a single point so there is plenty of motivation to give camogie in the west a boost.

Armagh, meanwhile, were not so long ago in the top flight. In spite of a sluggish start, they have regrouped magnificently to reach this final, and were particularly impressive ousting fellow Ulster side Tyrone in the semi-final.

Roscommon: C Connaughton; M Glennon, N Connolly, C Morris; C Rogerson, D Kelly (Capt), G Egan; P Lennon, N Coyle; K Hopkins, A McGeeney, C Regan; S O’Brien, C Kenny, C Curley.

Armagh: C Comiskey; M King, A McGuigan, P Murphy; E Farrell, L Gribben, C McKenna; B Murray, N McGeown;, C Donnelly, G Kelly,, J Mallon (Capt); A McLinden, C McSorley, P Mallon
