UCC mightn’t be the favourites in this season’s Ashbourne Cup, but they
desperately want to be in the decider. Nothing less than a quarter-final
win will suffice according to joint manager Aoife Murray, as the Cork
college prepares to host the finals weekend on February 21/22.
An Ashbourne medal is a treasured possession, and when the last eight

O’Donovan Rossa to All Ireland club honours. So, we will have to be at our
“”Ashbourne is a special competition. Not alone for the competitiveness,
but you could have club mates playing against each other, county players
like wise.
“”For now though, all that is on our mind, is qualifying for the semi-final.
The Ashbourne Cup (3rd level camogie) quarter finals will be played
on/before February 7th.
