Please see below the structures for Sunday’s Semi’s and Finals. May i first complement our new hurling clubs, Naomh Paidraig Muff, Gael Leitir Ceanainn, and Clochan Liath as well as the three new camogie clubs, Burt, Carndonagh and St Eunans on reaching their divisional Semi-Finals. We can all appreciate the huge effort put in by these clubs in such a short time. By the end of the program 130 teams amounting to 1,100 players from U-8 to U-14 will have competed in one day blitz’s and three-week tournaments in both hurling and camogie.
As we near the end of a very successfull Winter Program I have to thank all the Derry, Antrim and Tyrone teams that travelled to Donegal to make our competition a success, we hope you benefited from competing and return again next January.
The Semi’s begin at 11am in three courts, seven minutes each. The Finals will take place in Court 1 and Court 3, Div 4 Hurling and Div 2 Camogie in Court 3, Div 3, Div 2, Div 1 Hurling and Div 1 Camogie in Court 1. The last 2 Finals are Div 1 Camogie and Div 1 Hurling. Five minutes a half with two minutes break in each of the Finals.
Kevin Kelly Ulster Councils Hurling Programme Officer will present medals to the winners after. We would appreciate support from parents to make it a memorable day for all the participants involved. Information and training time on the County U-10 and U-12 School of Excellence will be given on Sunday.
A match booklet will be provided.
Please also note that C.L.G. Dhun na nGall will be providing players with a complementary ticket to this Sundays National Hurling League match against Longford in O’ Donnell Park.
