Action across four grades of the Liberty Insurance championship
This coming weekend marks another busy one for Camogie. Representatives from this year’s Liberty Insurance Junior A and Junior B finalists joined earlier this week with President of the Camogie Association Aileen Lawlor and Annette Ní Dhathlaoí, Liberty Insurance Head of Marketing ahead of the upcoming Liberty Insurance Junior A & B Finals on Sunday August 25th.
Dublin face Offaly in an all Leinster affair in the Liberty Insurance Junior A final in Clane at 2.00pm while Meath take on Kerry in the Liberty Insurance Junior B encounter in MacDonagh Park, Cloughjordan at 3.15pm.
“The upcoming Liberty Insurance Junior A & B finals mark the first of five exciting finals on the camogie calendar in the coming weeks. The Junior A tie between Leinster rivals Offaly and Dublin promises to be a fantastic game while the meeting of Meath and Kerry in the Junior B will be equally as intriguing. It is fantastic to see the work that is being put in at grass roots level in all counties reaping rich rewards and I want to wish all the players and coaches the very best in the upcoming games," said Aileen Lawlor.
The U16C final between Laois and Kerry precedes the Liberty Insurance Junior B Final throwing in at 1.30pm.
In addition, the Liberty Insurance Intermediate and Premier Junior semi-finals take place on Saturday August 24th. Galway face Wateford in the Ragg at 2.30pm while Limerick and Meath go head to head in Banagher at 1.00pm.
In the Liberty Insurance Premier Junior championship, last year's finalists Down take on Kildare in this year's semi-final at 3.15pm and Laois face Westmeath at 1.30pm. Both games are in Donaghmore Ashbourne.
