The Camogie Association today launched the Camogie Legends 2015 sponsored by the Croke Park Hotel. This year’s tournament will take place in Na Fianna in Dublin on February 28th, the eve of the All-Ireland Club Championship Finals.
The tournament will feature counties from throughout the country, consisting of panels of over 35 year olds, playing in seven-a-side games with unlimited substitutions. The likes of Galway’s Sharon Glynn, Cork’s Fiona O’Driscoll and Tipperary’s Emily Hayden to name but a few, will be togging out to roll back the years!

Uachtarán an Cumann Camógaíochta, Aileen Lawlor, welcomed the Croke Park Hotel’s sponsorship of this year’s Camogie Legends tournament – “The Camogie Legends is a great social occasion for past players to rekindle old friendships while enjoying the game of camogie. This is the fifth year of this seven-a-side tournament which continues to go from strength to strength. This year we hope to have more teams participating with some Junior counties interested in taking part. The cup is named after Biddy Phillips a Tipperary legend and last year her native county captured the title. It promises to be a great weekend”
