Liberty Insurance has announced that they will be sponsoring the Irish Tatler Woman of the Year awards, and in particular this year’s Sports Category. Galway camogie star, Therese Maher has been nominated in this year’s sports section. Maher will line out for her county in this Sunday’s Liberty Insurance All Ireland Senior Camogie Final against Kilkenny in Croke Park at 4.00pm.
The Irish Tatler Woman of the Year Awards will be presented in November. Olympian Katie Taylor is a previous recipient of the Sports Award.The public are invited to vote by logging onto http://www.irishtatler.com/wotya/ and registering their vote in each of the categories.
The closing date for voting is Friday September 13th.
