The second phase of the Camogie4Teens Programme takes place from September until December this years. 10 counties will take part in this phase. Counties involved include: Wicklow, Offaly, Wexford, Kildare, Down, Armagh, Donegal, Roscommon, Clare and Tipperary.
The aim of this unique programme is to cluster Camogie clubs together in a county in order to provide targeted programmes for their teenagers (15-18 year olds).
Programmes include Coaching Course, Referee Course, Admin/PR Course, Lifestyle & Blitz day. Pictured above 26 players from 6 clubs in Roscommon who completed the Referee Course as part of the Camogie4Teens programme.

The course length is 1 evening and 4 days and participants must be 19 years of age or older to apply. A sample of modules includes match analysis, fitness testing, periodisation and games based training.
Participants must have a Camogie Level 1 (Camán- Get Hooked Course) completed with at least 1 year coaching experience at this level. Coaches must also have completed Code of Ethics Course/Code of Conduct.

Derrylaughlin win U14 Blitz in Fermanagh
Ederney, Fermanagh hosted a camogie blitz on September 17th will six teams taken part. Derrylaughan (Tyrone) defeated Letterkenny Gaels (Donegal) in final. Other teams participating on day included hosts Ederney, Four Masters of Donegal, St Enda’s from Omagh Tyrone and Na Magha Derry.
